Train in the PNWOur mission is to provide top-tier stage and screen combat training to artists in the Seattle region and further, to uphold the highest ethical standards as we develop our craft, and to offer teachers and professionals the chance to connect with their community as they hone their skills.
The Seattle Sockeye is hosted by Performers' Forge, an organization dedicated to providing performing artists resources in the field of stage combat. They are dedicated to the education, training, and safety of stage combat while simultaneously providing community outreach to the theater and film community with choreography, stunts, and consultation. Performers' Forge is powered by Shunpike, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides independent arts groups in Washington State with the services, resources, and opportunities they need to forge their own paths to sustainable success. |
We host our workshop on the unceded land of the Duwamish people.
The Duwamish are the First People of present-day Seattle, and are the original stewards of this land. Since time immemorial, the Duwamish Tribe has maintained their ancestral home in traditional, sustainable ways for the benefit of all.
Seattle is built upon and thrives on the lands of the Duwamish People, and the City still carries the name of the Tribe’s most well-known leader, Chief Si’ahl (Seattle). To learn more about the Duwamish Tribe's fight for federal recognition, and how you can support them, check out Real Rent Duwamish at the link below. |
