how much does the workshop cost?

In 2026, early registration prices are:

Full weekend: $250
Single-day: $140

How do I register?

Follow the links on our Register page! Early registration will open on May 15.

what should i bring with me?

We recommend bringing the following:

- A water bottle
- Athletic clothes
- Sneakers or other athletic shoes (no cleats)
- Gloves for sword work (batting gloves, gardening gloves, gauntlets, or similar)
- Something to take notes with
- Deodorant
- Hair ties for long hair

All class materials & weapons will be provided. 

I'm joining from out of town. where should i stay?

Our Location page has recommendations for traveler accommodation.

i'm brand new to stage combat. can i still register?

Absolutely! We offer classes for a variety of experience levels.

how old do i have to be to register?

We welcome all students aged 18 and up.

Where should i plan to grab lunch?

Hutchinson Hall is close to a variety of restaurants. Check out some suggestions on our Location page.

Will there be spr offered?

In 2025, we did not​ offer an SPR.

Can I bring items from my own armory?

All class materials will be provided for you. That said, you are welcome to bring a personal weapon, given:

- you transport the weapons safely and discreetly.
- you check it with a member of the Sockeye staff.
