Kethry Boettcher

Kethry (she/her) graduated from the University of Washington School of Drama in 2000 and began her training in fight choreography with SAFD in 2001. As she advanced in weapon proficiencies, she joined Macha Monkey Productions where she took her training to the stage. She supported a plethora of productions and educational workshops over the years and served as Board President for a time. Continued fight studies took her to The Paddy Crean International Workshop where her passion of movement grew and artistic creation honed. In 2009 she co-founded Performers' Forge and expanded her weapon training to further the understanding of safe and dynamic storytelling through movement.

In the pursuit of expanding her connection with body mechanics she became a Massage Therapist in 2011 and a Yoga Teacher in 2016.  When not studying the world of movement she volunteers at SeaLife R3 (SR3), enjoys adventures in photography, developing unique artistic creations, and seeks a deepening in her connection with nature throughout the Pacific Northwest.
