Raya TuffahaRaya (she/her) is a Palestinian actor, fight director and writer from Seattle. She is an Actor Combatant with the SAFD, and is currently developing ethnographic research on audience-performer power dynamics in theatrical violence. She also works as the fight director for theatres and schools around the Seattle area, most recently including Studio East (Les Misérables), The Northwest School (Romeo & Juliet), and Latitude Theatre (Miss Holmes, upcoming). She is passionate about crafting muscular, nuanced stories, and believes fighting is a powerful tool for every body. She's powered by matcha. Awarded "Best Performer" at NSCW 2023.
